PeopleSoft Functional Analyst (contingent)

JOB DESCRIPTION:  
As a member of an integrated program team and PeopleSoft Analyst you will, depending on your experience level, lead and/or support PeopleSoft solution designs, business process analysis, development & testing of technical solutions for complex and/or unusual challenges related to PeopleSoft's Human Resources Management solution(s).  Job duties include:

  • Adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Comprehend the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to program & system goals and translate into actionable and deliverable solutions.
  • Coordinate the collection and preparation of requirements for major modules and serve as a liaison between the development team and the customer ensuring system needs are being met.
QUALIFICATIONS:     
COVID-19 Vaccination per Executive Order & DoD Mandate.
EXPERIENCE:      
  • Years of direct/relevant experience:  8 years - Senior Level; 5 years - Mid Level; 2 years - Basic Level.
  • Proficiencies in the below are expected commensurate with the job "Level":
    • PeopleSoft Human Capital Management System (HCM) & several or all of its modules.
    • Multiple problem-solving approaches/methodologies.
    • Comprehending, analyzing, interpreting, & succinctly summarizing complex issues and documents.
    • Assessing issues, task assignment(s), & risk(s), and determining/estimating the level of effort (LOE) required for completion/resolution.
    • Creating complex queries & reports.
    • Eliciting customer needs and conducting requirements analysis & Fit-Gap analysis.
    • Working with end users to conduct component & system testing. 
    • Conducting & managing work compliant with applicable policy, procedure & process concurrent with managing, maintaining & meeting schedule activities, milestones, & deadlines.
    • Planning and executing data conversion activities (e.g., test data).
    • Providing timely, reliable, appropriate, & courteous customer support & service.
    • Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
    • Professional verbal & written communication skills throughout all work activities that are well organized, clearly & efficiently articulated, & grammatically correct.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
Education & Experience Waivers:
  • An additional 4 years of experience may waive the Bachelor degree requirement.
  • A Master's degree or PhD may waive/reduce some or most of the required years of experience.
