LOCATION: Reston, VA
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Application Lead shall lead a team of 6-10 architects, developers, testers, SMEs, Sysadmins, DBAs and CM staff in all aspects of application development and sustainment and Govt. and security processes and procedures, including the RMF process, the ATO process, the Change Management process, development scrums and sprints. Shall create and submit weekly team status reports, and attend weekly status meetings, user engagement meetings, sprint demos. Shall ensure application sustainment including monthly patching, daily monitoring, backups and trouble ticket resolution. Remote work is not possible for this position as work takes place at/on client site.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (with Bachelors degree)
- Technology knowledge including the AWS Cloud and how to sustain an application.
- Experience leading scrum teams.
- Experience reporting to senior leadership.
- Relevant industry certifications such as Security+ are a "plus" but not required.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant computer field.
- Masters degree in a relevant computer field and 8 years of experience.
