DevOps Administrator

LOCATION:                Reston, VA
TRAVEL:                       None
Interact with & work closely with multi-disciplinary integrated project [development] teams, subject matter experts & engineers, end users, & other key stakeholders to ensure system & data integrity.   Update software & apply patches; normalize incoming data; develop & run scripts to automate routine tasks & remove human intervention; monitor & confirm web application servers; provide technical assistance & consultation to system/application architects/designers & other key stakeholders; create & maintain testing toolsets, test cases/use cases, & Test Plans; comply with configuration management policy & procedures throughout all work activities;  support production environment staff to troubleshoot & resolve systems, applications, & networking issues.  
    • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience (with Bachelors degree).
    • Experience with AWS Cloud and CentOS is required.
    • Experience with OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, Grey Matter is preferred but not required.
    • Experience with S3, ElastiCache, Elastic Search, and RDS is preferred but not required
    • Must possess the ability to integrate the whole picture including Functional, Regression, Stress, and Load Testing. 
    • Must have experience:
      • Performing requirements analysis and applying technical knowledge to design, writing & executing test plans, and debugging test cases. 
      • Troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving issues/problems, and completing problem report in a detailed manner.
  • EDUCATION:     
    • Bachelors degree in a relevant computer field.
    • OR
      • Masters degree in a relevant computer field with 6 years of experience
      • Associates Degree and 10 years experience. 
      • High School Diploma and 12 years experience.​​​​​​​
